Erdoğan delivered a speech at an event on the occasion of the Ephesus 2022 exercise in the Seferihisar district of İzmir.

President Erdogan said: “We are gradually realizing our determination to protect our borders with a safe line 30 kilometers from the border … We will not allow the establishment of terrorist corridors on the borders of our country, so we will certainly complete parts of our line. sure to be missing. ”

The morning activities, which were pursued by the Minister of National Defense, Hulusi Akar, the commanders of the Turkish Armed Forces, as well as by the Ministers of Defense and Chiefs of Staff of more than 10 countries, were completed with the precise hitting of the determined targets.

The second part of the activities started after the arrival of President Erdoğan in the exercise area. The president held talks with defense ministers and chiefs of staff in the area.

Following a briefing by the commander of the Land Forces, General Musa Avsever, on the conduct of the exercise, the targets were set by the Turkish Armed Forces.

The Ephesus-2022 exercise was attended by 11,000 thousand people, including 1,100 foreigners, from the Ministry of National Defense, the General Staff, the Land, Naval and Air Forces, the General Command of the Gendarmerie, the Coast Guard Command, civilian public institutions and organizations. , USA, Germany, Albania, Australia, Azerbaijan, Bahrain, Bangladesh, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Burkina Faso, Czech Republic, Ethiopia, France, Gambia, Georgia, Iraq, England, Italy, Cameroon, Qatar, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Republic of Korea, Kosovo, Kuwait, Northern Macedonia, Latvia, Libya, Hungary, Malaysia, Mongolia, Nigeria, Uzbekistan, Pakistan, Rwanda, Slovakia, Somalia and Jordan.
