Dinu Lipatti Arts House invites you on Saturday. May 14, 2022, between 18:00 and 23:00to discover and rediscover the House where the brilliant pianist and composer Dinu Lipatti lived with his family and to enjoy the emotion of music, at the Event “Museum Night at the House of Arts Dinu Lipatti”.

The cultural event proposed and realized in partnership with the National Network of Museums in Romania, in which the Dinu Lipatti House of Arts participates for the fourth time, has guests this year as cultural partners on the Royal Margaret Foundation of Romania. The program of this edition will include a visit to the Lipatti House, Exhibitions, Extraordinary Piano Recital and Film Screenings about the life and work of the greatest Romanian pianist of all time, Dinu Lipatti.

So, between classes 18: 00-23: 00, we invite you to visit Lipatti House, an architectural jewel located in the heart of the Capital, built in 1902, one of the first projects of the architect Petre Antonescu, author, among others, of some emblematic buildings in Bucharest such as Bucharest City Hall, Arc de Triomphe or Investment Bank. On this occasion, the Permanent Photo Exhibition “Lipatti Family and Friends” will be able to be admired inside the house and famous recordings performed by pianist Dinu Lipatti will be listened to.

In the time frame 19:00 – 20:30, Scholars of the Royal Margaret Foundation of Romania, from the “Young Talents” Program – pianists Antoniu Nagy and Daniel Dumitrașcu, will give an Extraordinary Recital of classical music. The program includes the works: Dinu Lipatti – Nocturna in the minor phase; Ludwig van Beethoven – Sonata Patetica; Frédéric Chopin –Nocturna op. 62 no. 1 and fantasy fantasy; Franz Liszt – Sonata in Si; Alberto Ginastera- Sonata no. 1, part I; George Enescu – Pavana and Bourée.

From 20:30, in the Swinging Court of the Lipatti House, there will be a screening of films about the life and creation of the legendary musician Dinu Lipatti, with free access.

Visiting Lipatti House is freeand participation in the Extraordinary Piano Recital will be based on tickets that can be purchased online from and in the network
