The opening of the exhibition takes place on Friday, March 11, at 18.00. The exhibition runs until April 4. It can be visited according to the following schedule: Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday: 11.00 – 16.00, Friday: 11.00 – 18.00, Saturday: 13.00 – 20.00, Sunday: 11.00 – 18.00, Monday – closed.
“With deep valences inspired by the environment, the exhibition Historia Naturalis – A glimpse into the study of insects and birds proposes a documentary chronicle through which the universe of the visible is discovered and then defined with the artistic image. The works highlight the visual representations of certain specimens in the area of artistic creation and analyze three stages of the creative act – from simple curiosity, to science and to the purely aesthetic value – of this approach being part of the observations made in the field of entomology and natural sciences. – says the artist about her own creations

* Laura Duduleanu (b. 1983, Craiova) graduated with a bachelor’s degree in 2013 and a master’s degree in 2015, both in graphics, at the Faculty of Arts and Design in Timișoara, and in 2019 she obtained her doctorate in visual arts. He has participated in numerous artistic projects, among which we mention: Juventus, Interart Triade Foundation, Timișoara; Banat Pavilion, side event at the Art Encounters Biennale, Timisoara; Centenart – 100 years of identity, Bucharest; Visual Arts Salon, Art Museum, Timisoara; Visual Reflections, Bucharest National Theater, “IL·LUSTRACIÈNCIA” International Natural Science Illustration Contest, Barcelona, Spain. He currently lives and works in Timisoara.
